Magic Stick 2011? Lil' Kim to sign with 50-Cent?

This past weekend, pioneer rap femcee, Lil' Kim shocked and surprised Atlanta when she popped on stage at Hot 107.9's annual 'Birthday Bash'.  Her fans and the crowd was elated to see the veteran rapper come out on a set with Atl's Shawty Lo.  The crowd erupted in applause! 

"If ya’ll don’t know, this my boy right here" Kim said referring to L-O. "G-Unit South, that’s where it’s at and I’m family too, down with the G-Unit camp. We got surprises for ya’ll.”




Kim;s broad statements along with rumors swirling around the industry has led some to think that she is close to signing a deal with 50-Cent's G-Unit imprint.  There has been so much talk about this that on last week during a radio interview with host Funkmaster Flex the disc jockey bombarded Fif with a series of questions, one of those regarding Lil Kim.




"I haven't had the opportunity to record with her" 50 answered Flex when asked what was the status of their business relationship. "We was talking about getting together to do something so we'll probably get together. When she said we was working together we had conversations about going in to do it cause you know, we had "Magic Stick" in the past and we made some things that felt good so I was like 'I'm open to it.' So we'll find some time to get in and go ahead and do something."

Though very vague, these comments may mean the two have something in store for the fans in due time.  This would be an interesting pairing.  The two did have some discourse back in the day with 50 not wanting to do a video or performance of 'Magic Stick' with the diminutive artist.  Then Kim attacking back at 50-cent on one of her tracks from 'The Naked Truth', insinuating that 50 was part of the 'Hip-Hop Cops, and the song also questioned the G-Unit general's sexuality.  But stranger bedfellows have arisen out of hip-hop beefs, so a pairing of the two would not be surprise to me at all.  If something does come to pass, it actually would be a  good look for both artists.  Hip-hop needs something new and fresh.  We've been waiting on a new hip-hop Bonnie & Clyde.  This just could be it?  We shall see.

Wow! Okay.  Handler says she is now "satiated" .  Curtis must've been 'more' man than she is accostomed to, or maybe vice-versa?  Who's to say?  You know 50 is somewhere waiting to make a smart comment or a 'Twitter' shout-out or something.  Or he may surprise us all and not say a word.  You never know what you're going to get with that guy.  We shall see.

Sleek Audio cancels 'Sleek By 50-Cent' Headphone deal!!!

This week, Sleek Audio announced that their relationship with 50 Cent and G-Unit has ended. With this abrupt announcement, also comes the demise of  50 Cent’s new line of “Sleek By 50 Cent” headphones.

Sources are saying that 50 Cent and Sleek’s relationship is in fact over but 50 Cent might still have headphones come out under a re-branded name with his own company. Knowing 50, being the business man that he is these days, I am sure he has already worked out another deal and will be distributing those headphones in an even BIGGER & Better way, by Fall.  We will keep you updated on this as more info comes out.
