Trying to hide a story in the Friday news dump is not just for Washington D.C. anymore. Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez have decided to end their seven year marriage. To recap some of the stories of the past year in the gossip rags, Marc Anthony was allegedly not happy about her taking the job on American False Idol and in January she had an interview with the standard crap line "My kids saved me."

Maybe they saved her a bundle on car insurance. They sure couldn't save this drama queen's marriage.

Breaking news: Casey Anthony found not guilty.

Casey Anthony was found not guilty of the murder of her daughter Caylee Anthony but was found guilty of lying to police. The case took 33 days, but the jurors took less then a day to come to their verdict.

I was disbelieving when the National Enquirer claimed this would be the case and skeptical when People repeated it, but obviously they were talking to people better informed than I am. The case was based on circumstantial evidence and the defense did a good job of showing the autopsy was botched.

Still, the press is going to raise a stink and she could easily become a cause celebre like O.J.
