Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to begin filming his first movie role since a scandal erupted over his love child with a housekeeper, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Just a week after Maria Shriver filed for divorce, online reports say the former California governor, 63, is confirmed to be appearing in Last Stand, a Western flick.
"This is true and there are a number of other film projects under discussion," the rep says.
Schwarzenegger had originally pulled out of the Last Stand project in May right before his marital woes went public, but now he'll begin shooting in September, according to the reports.
I suppose putting his acting career on the backburner is over. Arnold is ready to get back to business, and with good reason. The divorce is set to cost the ex-govenor millions!
