Braxton Breakdown!? 'Braxton Family Values' Recap and Sneak Peek

Wow.
The Braxton Sisters are having drama for your MOMMA!
Towanda and family got evicted from their rented home and Towanda's 'no-count' husband is no support at all.  Trina wants to try to make a go of it with 2-time cheater husband, Traci still looking in the window from outside trying to get a way back in the group and Tamar---well she is just Tamar. See what you missed!

Toni KNOWS she needs to be on the family album!  That's like doing a Jackson 5 album with no Michael.  It's not going to work otherwise. No Toni, No Tamar?  What do you have?  A 702 album! LOL-- Just kidding 702 was the bomb for a hot MINUTE.COM  But really, it'd help the sales if Toni was on the disc.  If Toni was on Tamar's last album it would've helped because it was a decent cd.  I still listen to it from time to time. Tamar CAN BLOW too!!!  But anyways.... Traci is going to have to make some sacrifices if she wants back in.  Towanda needs to get rid of her 'husband'.  Trina needs to get rid of hers and be single.  Momma Evelyn need to beat all they asses for showing out.  And Tamar needs to LISTEN for a change and work on a HIT SONG, sign her contract before she thinks about her new solo IMAGE.  That's my round-up for the day.  And Toni needs to CALL ME so I can direct her next video.  I got some storyboards for ya!

CALL ME --678-458-  You know the number..... LOL

Guilty Pleasure of the Week: 'Braxton Family Values'

My new guilty pleasure of the week has to be the reality show 'Braxton Family Values'.  I was not expecting this show to be so entertaining.  Move over NeNe and Kim from the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta', there's some new housewives in town that make you guys look like school girls.  The Braxton sisters who all are really housewives, (with the exception of Toni) dish about love, life, men and of course Margaritas.  If you guys missed the premiere last week, make sure you catch up because from what I can foresee, this season will be filled with a heaping helping of drama as the ladies bask, or shall I say sulk in the shadow of their older sister Toni's success.  If you missed the 1st episode, check your local listings to see when it will re-air on We TV.  And tune in on Tuesday's at 9pm ET to get you fill of the Braxton Clan.  On the 1st episode we see that baby sister Tamar is not so happy to be singing background for her big sis.  She has Lady GaGa-inspired dreams of being in her own spotlight, much to her husband's dismay.  While sulking in the corner is sister Tracie who just wants to sing again!  She's love to be in Tamar's stilettos as a background singer for her uber-talented older sister.  She just feels she is the 'odd man out' because of a missed opportunity to sing... or is it?   Towanda on the other hand appears to be content being her sister's assistant, but has a rather interesting 'love' life or lack there-of.  Hmmmm?? What type of arrangement does she have going on here.  Speaking of arrangements, lets talk about sister Trina Braxton.  Her marriage is far from happy ever after, and she seems to have other past times to numb the pain.  And this is just the first episode!  And lest we forget the sassy mother to the brood who hold it all together and looks damn good doing it , might I add.  Now we see where the ladies get their beauty from.  Momma looks like she could still walk the red carpet and you would hear Fabolous' street anthem 'She be killin 'em' playing as she struts her stuff!
I have to admit, this show is lush, well produced, and entertaining.  But most importantly it's real.  It does not come of scripted or rehearsed, but real, family growing pains.  The ladies may fuss and fight but at the end of the day when it's time for Toni to take her nap, it's evident that the family is filled with a lot of love and admiration for each other.  You 'gotta' love that!  'Family', at the end of the day is what its all about!
