Lil' Wayne says 'Tha Carter IV' is done! Then what's the hold up?

During an interview with MTV News last week, Lil Wayne confirmed that the recording of the highly anticipated fourth installment of his Tha Carter series is finished and will drop at the end of August, a day after the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards air live on August 28.
'XXL Mag also adds that Lil' Wayne tapped Nas, Shyne and Jadakiss for an all-star posse cut that will close out the LP.

Contributing writer Shaheem Reid, who interviewed Weezy for XXL’s July/August 2011 cover story, had a chance to preview the disc and got a rundown of all of the set’s guest stars. As expected, Wayne has songs with his Young Money crew, along with Busta Rhymes, Bun B, Tech N9ne, Cee Lo, John Legend and will.i.am. Swizz Beatz, Bangladesh, Polow Da Don and Boi-1da all provided beats.

What can we expect from the Young Money lieutenant?
Judging by the latest Carter IV single, the album will offer even more diversity. According to Wayne, the acoustic-flavored, sing-songy "How to Love" was actually inspired by Tupac Shakur.

"That song is just sweeping the world. It's touching every woman, that's what it was for," Wayne said. "It was like Tupac had 'Keep Ya Head Up' and it was a message to women and little girls across the world just to keep your head up even though things are hard. That's what my song was."
