The Real Housewives of THE BIBLE--Yes you read it correctly...

Move over RHOA.  Take a hike 'Mob Wives'.  Time out 'Basketball Wives'.  There is a new set of wives in town--'The Real Housewives of The Bible'!

Disappointed over reality shows not providing solutions to the very thing they advertise – troubled relationships – web-based evangelist and author Ty Adams decided to produce a biblically-based reality show, “The Real Housewives of the Bible,” to teach women that before finding love, they need to go back to the source of true love: God.

“The Real Housewives of the Bible” follows 12 women in a three-part DVD meant to be watched in a group setting for six weeks. The series is accompanied with a Bible studies guide where churchgoers, specifically single women, can learn from those who have experienced broken relationships in the past.
The show takes a look at women in the Bible with issues such as adultery, infertility, and shortage of available men for singles, and gives it a modern representation with one of the women in her show.
Adams selected the women in the series from those who either sent prayer requests or shared their personal stories on love. Some were just randomly selected, she said.

This is an interesting take on the reality show genre.  We shall see how this is received by the masses.

"The Real Housewives of the Bible" will be available on DVD July 11.
