Fresh trash on Thursdays! There are two different stories about Ryan Reynold this week in the supermarket rags, and I think these aren't planted crap hoping to boost the box office of Green Lantern, which is now a month old and about to slip out of the top ten. No, the gossip rags have decided to turn Mr. Reynolds into a man slut along the lines of Gerard Butler.

Welcome to gossip hell, Charlize Theron! Us Weekly tells us that Ryan is secretly dating the South African born beauty. This is her first mention on the cover of The Only Ten Magazines That Matter in two years. In the post just below this one, Weekly Life & Style says Reynolds is trying to get back with his ex Scarlett Johansson.

This is classic man slut behavior, or more likely, a classic example of the gossip rags trying to turn a guy into a man slut. It's a pretty good bet when two stories like this appear in the same week, there are going to be more on the way.

Fresh trash on Thursdays! Ryan Reynolds is not a big movie star yet. His name above the title is not a promise of ticket sales. But the supermarket rags are fascinated with love life, so he is one of the biggest male gossip stars. Weekly Life & Style says he and ex-wife Scarlett Johannson are giving it another shot, at least for the time being.

This story is contradicted by another story this week.

Ryan Reynolds Day!

'Green Lantern' hits theaters today! So everything is coming up ROSES, for Ryan Reynolds.  Well since we are all on this GREEN tip, everything is coming up SHAMROCKS for the 'Green Lantern' heartthrob.  Also on stands today is 'Entertainment Weekly' with Reynolds on the cover.  His stock is sure to be rising in Hollywood these days;  he is now known for his washboard abs that he toned up mercilessly for for his role as Green Lantern.  Peep the cover:



Reynolds says it took him 5 months of strenuous core training for him to put on 22 lbs of muscle and get his body fat down to 3%!  Wow!!! Amazing!

'GREEN LANTERN' Hits Theaters TODAY!

I must admit that 'Green Lantern' would not be the 1st nor 2nd comic book hero I would want to see a movie about.  Unless you are a comic book afficiando, one would easily overlook this one.  But after doing a bitof research, Green Lantern has quite an impressive back story.  Take a look!

Fresh trash on Thursdays! People has their double issue on the stands this week of Most Beautiful People, and most of the cover goes to Jennifer Lopez, with little pictures of Mila Kunis and Ryan Reynolds and the headline "95 fabulous faces".

95 is not only an odd number, it's a strange number. How hard would it have been to find five more good looking people and push the list to an even hundred?

For me, J. Lo is pretty but not super special. I am of the opinion the Ben Affleck pulled off one of the great upgrades in show business history when he got rid of her and hooked up with the taller, sexier and much lower maintenance Jennifer Garner.
