My brother wanted to name his 2nd born after this guy, but wifey wasn't having it. Last week, the legendary, and musical genius Prince stopped by Lopez Tonight and gave a snippet of what u can xpect in the 21-Night Stand, 'Welcome2America' stint he is performing in Los Angeles. (When u write about the 'Purple Badness', u must write in the vernacular of the artist. So spelling of of the words out is optional. You are allowed to use symbols and numbers 2 get your point across and it is purpley okay...I mean perfectly okay.)
The 21-Night stand kicked off last Thursday at The Forum in Inglewood, California. On Lopez Tonight, Prince talked about being a vegetarian, his music and he perforemed his latest single "LayDown", and some other classics like "The Beautiful Ones." In true Prince-fashion, his performance was a collossal stage show complete with a band-- a marching band that is and his long time contemporary, Shelia E on percussion, and a slew of dancers! His perfromance was like a concert. Even George Lopez himself 'helped out' on percussion. It was surely a treat for the Lopez audience and if you havent had the chance to see this man live, you are missing out. My brother has seen him TWICE this year in the span of a week, and I am sure he wouldn't be adverse to seeing him again.
