Congrats to Dirk Nowitzki and The Dallas Mavericks on their 1st ever NBA title. Dirk, capped an amazing season with a win in game 6 as he played through with the flu to mark his place in history. We congratulate Nowitzki for his passion for the game and his drive to push through his illness to propel his team to that ultimate victory. But let's not forget the man that is touted as being 'the greatest basketball player to ever play the game, Michael Jordan.
Let's take a trip back to 1997 when the great MJ ,who also struggled through much duress, pushed through an illness to take his team to victory over The Utah Jazz.
