"Potty Mouth--CLEAN IT UP"- Another ANTI-GAY SLUR at a BASKETBALL GAME??

Don't you guys ever learn from the mistake of others?  One slip of the tongue and let it get caught by just one video camera and BAMM.. there you have Chicago Bull's Joakim Noah.  Take a look at what he said:

It's pretty clear what Joakim said to the unruly fan.  But I wonder what the fan said to him?  Probably the same statement.  Nonetheless, Noah was slapped with a $50,000 fine for his anti-gay slur.  And offered an 'apology' if you can call it that, for his outburst on Monday at the Bull's team hotel.
Joakim Noah

It's the playoffs, tensions run high, but in situations like this you have to know how to keep your cool.  So what a Miami Heat fan got up in your face and caused you to act irrationally.  SO WHAT!  It is a fan nonetheless, a fan that pays your million-dollar paychecks.  If a fan gets out of hand, there should be a certain degree of integrity of the player to keep the situation neutralized by not reacting.  And is this 'gay slur' thing the new thing to do.  Is that like the worst thing you can say to a person to cut them back down to size?  If it is, people need to come up with something new because that is a huge cop-out.  If you are ok with getting fined, at least throw some ice on them too... LOL.. But really.  Let's get it together here.  Insults are so 8th grade.  Rise above.  I'm just saying.  You would think these players would learn from the mistakes from others.  A few 'bad words' and you can ostracize yourself from a whole group of people and bring negativity to your ball club.  Be responsible people.
Now PLAY SOME BALL!

(Hmm,......)

(Long hair don't care)
