If Maria Shriver decides to file for divorce the payout would almost twice as much as Tiger Woods' $110 million divorce settlement.. According to Page Six, the couple's net worth has been placed between $200 million and $400 million, which means should Shriver cut legal ties with her husband of 25 years, she could take over $200 million with her.
So despite public humiliation and total disrespect, Shriver should be 'sitting pretty' really soon, if she chooses to file. There is talks that the couple signed a prenup, but the longevity of the marriage and Schwarzenegger's infidelity could easily trump the relevance of that document in court.
There are also rumblings that Schwarzenegger has also sired other children with other woman. More details of this case will be coming out as time goes by.
Though they are separated, Shriver has yet to file for divorce. However, it is believed she has hired top Hollywood divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.
Wasser, 42, a mother of two, has been nicknamed a "disso-queen" for her reputation for handling marital dissolutions for some of the entertainment industry's biggest names.She has represented dozens of celebrities in their divorces and custody battles, including Robyn Gibson, Kate Walsh, Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, and Kiefer Sutherland. She has been featured in Elle and Vogue magazines and served as an on-set legal consultant for the movie, "Liar Liar".
